The incident occurred near Klaaskreek, close to Mi Sa Hoi beach.<\/p>\n<p>Police at Brokopondo Centrum received a report that the man had gone missing during the work. Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim, L.J., was working as a trainee diver with a colleague on a so-called scalian.<\/p>\n<p>At some point, L.J. fell into the water and did not resurface. A search was launched immediately, after which he was recovered from the water. A doctor pronounced the man dead.<\/p>\n<p>Following an investigation, the body was released to the next of kin.
