Through the work, the authority aims to improve road safety and the condition of the road network.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"dropcap \" style=\"background-color: #ffffff; color: #000000; border-color: #ffffff;\">L<\/span>Vegetation along the road sections is being pruned back and removed. Road edges are also being cleared and cleaned up. This is intended to provide better visibility of the carriageway and the immediate surroundings.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Wegenautoriteit, regular roadside maintenance is particularly necessary on sections with dense vegetation. Overhanging plants and overgrown verges can restrict the visibility of road users and thereby affect road safety.<\/p>\n<p>The work is being carried out in phases. Road users should therefore take account of workers and maintenance equipment along the road.
