The suspects allegedly stole, among other things, outdoor air-conditioning units, lamps and a tin of paint.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"dropcap \" style=\"background-color: #ffffff; color: #000000; border-color: #ffffff;\">T<\/span>he police received a report of the theft at around 3.40 p.m. and went to the recreation centre. At the scene, the security guard reported several items missing. Acting on the guard&#8217;s information, nine young people, all living on the Sophia\u2019s Lustproject, were traced. According to police, they confessed to having been involved in the theft.<\/p>\n<p>One of the stolen outdoor air-conditioning units was found in a ditch at the rear of the premises. Two lamps were found at the home address of one of the suspects and subsequently seized.<\/p>\n<p>The nine <a href=\"https:\/\/keynews.sr\/om-cultuur-en-tradities-vormen-geen-vrijbrief-voor-zedendelicten-tegen-minderjarigen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">minors<\/a> have been detained in the interest of the investigation and placed in the juvenile detention facility Opa Doeli.\u00a0The case has been transferred to the Juvenile Affairs Department of Opa Doeli, which is continuing the investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nine minor suspects have been arrested for the theft of air-conditioning units, lamps and paint at the Sophia\u2019s Lust recreation centre in Wanica.
