Recently, two confiscated vehicles were declared forfeited and deployed to two specialised departments of the police force.<\/p>\n<p>Policy is also being developed for vehicles that have been involved in collisions and have been sitting for years on the premises of police stations. \u201cIt does not look good. We do not even know who the owners are.\u201d Pinas is working with the staff to determine how these vehicles can be removed.<\/p>\n<p>Justice and Police Minister Harish Monorath also recently acknowledged that at almost all police stations, a number of confiscated vehicles have been lying there for years and have now completely deteriorated.
