The suspect, L.V., allegedly chased a mechanic with a machete and a hammer and caused damage to his home. The reason was dissatisfaction with work carried out on his vehicle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"dropcap \" style=\"background-color: #ffffff; color: #000000; border-color: #ffffff;\">A<\/span>ccording to the mechanic&#8217;s statement, he had resolved a problem with the gearbox of L.V.&#8217;s vehicle earlier this year. After the vehicle was delivered, the customer allegedly came to his home several times to threaten him because he was dissatisfied with the repair.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, September 20, L.V. again came to the mechanic&#8217;s home with the vehicle. According to the complainant, the man verbally abused him and threatened to kill him. L.V. then allegedly armed himself with a machete and a hammer and chased the mechanic.<\/p>\n<p>The mechanic managed to get to safety by going inside his home and locking the door. The suspect allegedly then used the machete to cause damage to the home. The mechanic filed a report out of fear for his safety.<\/p>\n<p>Following his arrest, L.V. was brought before an assistant public prosecutor. According to police, he admitted to threatening the mechanic and causing damage to his home. He stated that he acted out of anger and wanted his money back because he was dissatisfied with the work.<\/p>\n<p>After consultation with the Public Prosecution Service, the suspect was remanded in custody.
