S.H. Kisoensinghschool in Clarapolder, Nickerie, are still unable to attend school because the renovation of the school building has not been completed. Classes have also not yet started at the Dani\u00ebl IJveraarschool in Klaaskreek. According to DNA member Tashana L\u00f6sche, staff housing for teachers is lacking there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"dropcap \" style=\"background-color: #ffffff; color: #000000; border-color: #ffffff;\">D<\/span>NA member Rabin Parmessar on Thursday called attention in De Nationale Assembl\u00e9e (Suriname&#8217;s parliament) to the situation in Clarapolder. According to him, it remains unclear to the pupils when they will be able to attend school. \u201cThe school is being renovated, but no one can say when the renovations will be completed,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Parmessar urged that the contractor be given a clear deadline to complete the work. He believes the work must be completed as soon as possible. \u201cIf this contractor cannot handle the work, another contractor must be brought in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>L\u00f6sche called attention to the Dani\u00ebl IJveraarschool in Klaaskreek. According to her, the teachers there are unable to provide lessons because they do not have staff housing.
