The airline reported this in a communiqu\u00e9 on Friday, 9 October. Flight PY431 to Aruba and Cura\u00e7ao has nevertheless been delayed as a result of the earlier work stoppage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"dropcap \" style=\"background-color: #ffffff; color: #000000; border-color: #ffffff;\">A<\/span>ccording to SLM, constructive consultations took place between management, BP-SLM and representatives of the cabin crew. This led to the suspension of the action. The airline provided no further information in the statement about the agreements reached.<\/p>\n<p>The revised departure time of flight PY431 from Paramaribo has been set for 5 p.m. The expected arrival time in Aruba is 6.45 p.m. The aircraft is expected in Cura\u00e7ao at 8.15 p.m. The communiqu\u00e9 does not confirm whether the flight has since departed.<\/p>\n<p>SLM expressed appreciation for the cabin crew&#8217;s efforts and thanked the parties involved for their constructive attitude.
