El maestro federado Arwien Bhagwandas termin\u00f3 como el mejor jugador surinam\u00e9s de damas durante el torneo Tobago Blitz. Obtuvo 11 puntos en nueve partidas y finaliz\u00f3 decimotercero en un fuerte campo internacional de 44 jugadores.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

E<\/span>l torneo se disput\u00f3 seg\u00fan el sistema suizo a lo largo de nueve rondas. Los participantes dispusieron de cinco minutos de tiempo de reflexi\u00f3n por partida, con un incremento de tres segundos por jugada.<\/p>\n

De los 44 participantes, 24 jugadores pose\u00edan un t\u00edtulo internacional. El campo de participantes estuvo compuesto por ocho grandes maestros, cuatro maestros internacionales, once maestros federados y un candidato a maestro federado.<\/p>\n

Bhagwandas dej\u00f3 por detr\u00e1s, con su decimotercer puesto, a varios fuertes poseedores de t\u00edtulos.<\/p>\n

Los dem\u00e1s participantes surinameses tambi\u00e9n se hicieron notar. El maestro federado Niaaz Salarbaks termin\u00f3 en el decimosexto lugar con 10 puntos. El maestro federado Santosh Bhagwandas tambi\u00e9n obtuvo 10 puntos y fue decimoctavo.<\/p>\n

El maestro federado Arief Salarbaks y el candidato a maestro federado Sharvan Debipersad reunieron ambos 9 puntos. Terminaron respectivamente en los puestos 22 y 25.<\/p>\n
