The Moengo police arrested a 49-year-old man on Tuesday, September 22, on suspicion of threatening his sister. The 47-year-old woman had filed a report against him.
According to her, her brother appeared at her home under the influence of alcohol on Sunday, September 20, and threatened to kill her. She stated that he more often causes disturbances when he has been drinking. He is also said to have injured her daughter with a knife in the past.
The suspect, P.P., was remanded in custody after consultation with the Openbaar Ministerie (Public Prosecution Service).
