Police received a report through the Command Center that a lifeless body had been found at an address within the jurisdiction of the Santodorp police station. Officers went to the scene and found the man there, who showed no signs of life.
An initial investigation found stab wounds to the victim’s chest. A doctor who was called in officially pronounced him dead.
The Forensic Investigation and Capital Crimes departments were also called in and conducted an investigation at the location. The deceased’s body was subsequently transferred to the mortuary.
Police are investigating the circumstances under which the man died. No details have yet been released about a possible motive or any involvement of third parties.
