valuta web 3 An entrepreneur has been arrested for fraud involving currency investments through Just Dream Wealth Enterprise; he admits having received money without investing it and refuses to repay it.

Meerzorg police arrested businessman W.J. on Monday, October 26, 2026, on suspicion of fraud and embezzlement. The man is alleged to have received money in US dollars through his company from persons who were led to believe they could achieve high returns through currency investments. Police suspect there are multiple victims.

The case came to light after an aggrieved party filed a report against the businessman in July 2026. He operated under the business name Just Dream Wealth Enterprise. According to the complainant, he came into contact with W.J. in 2023, who told him that he had a company engaged in investing foreign currencies at a very high interest rate.

The businessman managed to convince the complainant to invest money. It was allegedly agreed that after six months, the investor would receive back his invested amount, increased by a substantial profit.

However, when the agreed period expired, payment was not made. According to police, the aggrieved party was subsequently repeatedly put off. Attempts to reach a settlement with the businessman yielded nothing. Despite several promises by W.J., repayment was not made.

Businessman acknowledges receiving money

Following his arrest on October 26, W.J. was brought before an assistant public prosecutor. During the hearing, he acknowledged, according to police, that he had received a sum of money in US dollars from the complainant for investment.

The businessman also admitted that he had not invested the money received and had likewise not repaid the amount owed, including the promised interest. He stated that he was willing to compensate the aggrieved party after all.

Following consultation with the Openbaar Ministerie (Public Prosecution Service), W.J. was remanded in custody.

Police suspect multiple victims

Police do not rule out that the businessman harmed several persons in the same manner. Two business names are mentioned: Just Dream Wealth Enterprise and Just With Wealth NV.

Persons who have done business with W.J. and suspect that they were defrauded in a similar manner are urged to file a report at the Meerzorg police station.

The investigation into the suspected fraud and embezzlement is continuing. It is not yet known how much money in total is involved in the alleged practices.
