734152359 122331701192011040 6866568757122931023 n Police are investigating a possible sexually inappropriate incident involving two minors in Santodorp. The investigation is in full swing, with an emphasis on protecting privacy.

The Santodorp police have launched an investigation into the possible sexual abuse of a minor girl at a home on De Goede Zorgweg. According to the initial findings of the investigation, another minor may have been involved in the alleged incident.

The case came to light on Friday, October 16, 2026, after police received a report of possible sexually inappropriate behaviour.

Following the report, police officers launched an investigation. Initial investigative actions were carried out and several persons involved were interviewed. The preliminary investigation indicates that the girl may have become the victim of sexually inappropriate behaviour by another minor.

The investigation is still ongoing. Police have stated that they will not disclose any further details about the case for the time being. This is being done with a view to protecting the minors involved and their privacy.

Police warn against spreading rumours

Police urgently appeal to the public not to spread unconfirmed reports, speculation or fabricated information about the incident. Such information can have harmful consequences for the minors involved and their families.

In addition, parents and caregivers are urged to be extra alert to signs of possible inappropriate behaviour. Police stress the importance of open conversations with children about personal boundaries, safety and recognising unwanted situations.

Parents are encouraged to make it clear to their children that they should immediately report unsafe situations to an adult they trust.
