In a wooded area along Mauritsstraat, a body in an advanced state of decomposition was found on Saturday afternoon. The identity of the deceased and the cause of death are not yet known.
Police from Leiding went to the location after a report was received at around 1.59 p.m. Officers found the body in the area.
