A man was arrested after he allegedly fired shots from a house at around 1.01 a.m. at the intersection of Carolina and Theodorusstraat. No one was injured in the incident.
According to initial information, the shots were fired in the direction of an e-bike rider and a taxi. The e-bike rider was unharmed. A bullet impact was found in the right rear door of the taxi driver’s vehicle.
The suspected shooter was arrested. According to police, he was under the influence. No firearm was found during the arrest.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting incident and the whereabouts of the firearm used.
