Reigning two-sport ONE world champion Regian “The Immortal” Eersel puts his Muay Thai gold on the line against a familiar challenger in a highly anticipated rematch.
The 33-year-old Surinamese superstar defends his ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title against George “G-Unit” Jarvis at The Inner Circle 33 on Friday, October 2, at the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Eersel’s reign as ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Champion has been a masterclass in dominance from start to finish. The Surinamese fighter holds a career record of 65-5 with 29 finishes and a promotion record of 14-1, and his place in the history of the lightweight division is already secured, regardless of what comes next.
He captured the inaugural ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title in May 2019 and defended it several times before adding the inaugural Muay Thai title to his collection in October 2022, defeating Thai star Sinsamut Klinmee to become the ruler of the division’s two sports.
When Jarvis arrived for his title bout at ONE Fight Night 34 in August 2025, on a four-fight winning streak and full of confidence, Eersel ended the fight in less than 90 seconds and delivered one of the most impressive statements of his entire reign.
The man returning for a second attempt at that gold has used the time since his first title opportunity wisely. Jarvis, a 26-year-old Englishman from Lumpini Crawley with a 28-5 striking record and a promotion record of 6-2, has improved relentlessly and refuses to be defined by setbacks. The first meeting with Eersel lasted 84 seconds and ended in a heavy defeat, but Jarvis has not stood still since.
He returned to claim victory over former title challenger Sinsamut, before delivering a more dominant performance in his rematch knockout against Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong, results that have restored his momentum and strengthened his belief that he has corrected the mistakes of August 2025.
