Police have arrested two shopkeepers on suspicion of deprivation of liberty. They allegedly held and took away a suspected shoplifter at a supermarket on the Indira Gandhiweg. The man has not yet been found.
According to initial information, the man was caught committing a suspected shoplifting at the supermarket at Indira Gandhiweg 293. The two shopkeepers then allegedly took him against his will to an address on the Magentakanaalweg.
There, according to the police, they wanted to recover money that the man was said to have taken.
The two suspects have been arrested and identified several locations during the investigation. However, the suspected shoplifter was not found there.
Police are continuing the search for the man and the investigation into the case.
