Drug suspect arrested with hashish, cocaine and marijuana

During the operation, various types of drugs, money and materials for packaging and weighing narcotics were seized.

In the room where the suspect was located, police officers found 449 grams of hashish, 50 grams of cocaine and 185 grams of marijuana. Packaging material, two precision scales and a large sum of money in Surinamese dollars were also seized.

Preliminary police investigations reportedly showed that the drugs belonged to B.K. and that he sold narcotics at the location.

After his arrest, the suspect was taken to the police station and arraigned. Following consultation with the Public Prosecution Service, B.K. was remanded in custody pending further investigation.
