A warehouse on Martinusstraat was hit by a fire on Friday, September 18, 2026. Thanks to the swift response of the fire brigade and the police, worse was prevented. The damage was therefore limited to the front of the building.
Police from the Munder station received the report of the fire, after which officers were dispatched and called in the fire brigade. Upon arrival, the fire brigade found a burning warehouse. The fire is believed to have started near the meter box, with a short circuit considered the likely cause. The building is not insured against fire damage.
There were no personal injuries in the fire.
