Suspect ‘Bakafisi’ arrested over fatal stabbing on Kleine Combéweg

The victim, known as ‘Cubano’, was allegedly killed with a sharp object. The stabbing took place on Friday, August 14, 2026, at a property on Kleine Combéweg. A joint team from the Kapitale Delicten department and the Quick Response Team managed to trace the suspect.

Bakafisi came to the attention of investigators following an investigation by the intelligence service. He was subsequently located at an address on Marygoldstraat in the Wanica district and arrested there. Preliminary police investigations show that the victim was a foreign national known as ‘Cubano’. His correct personal details have not yet been established. Police have determined that he died as a result of a crime. He was allegedly stabbed with a sharp object.

During a search of the victim’s home, four sharp objects were found and seized. It is not yet known whether any of these objects was used in the crime.

According to police, Bakafisi is known to the judicial authorities. H.P.R. is alleged to have previously committed robberies involving violence.

Following his arrest, the suspect was taken to the police station and detained. The investigation into the motive and the exact circumstances surrounding the fatal stabbing is continuing.
